This article needs to explain what papersticks are, and to give some kind of "neutral" discussion of their benefits compared to cotton buds. Kappa 10:18, 18 Feb 2005 (UTC)

As far as I can tell, "cotton buds" refer to what are commonly referred to in the US as Q-tips or cotton swabs. Check the wiki article for details.

The article presents an argument to replace them with paper tubes instead of plastic for environmental reasons.

I personally would vote for deletion and integration into the cotton buds article.

Papersticks (google for it) is a generic term for paper pulp-based sticks, usually used for food and medical use. Possibly worth a stub in and of itself, but with little relevance to what's posted here.

But papersticks are also used for : Lollipops, Cheese Sticks, small Pennants and Joss sticks (Incense Sticks). Today, they are considered to be the saver alternative compared to plastic or wooden sticks. Papersticks are biodegradable and thus environment friendly.
