I'm not sure we ought to use a copyrighted picture. --Uncle Ed 21:28, 16 Dec 2003 (UTC)

"permission to use with credits given" as it says in the text you get if you click the picture. We could perhaps replace "©" with "Photo by" if that would make you feel better. // Liftarn
Why not ask the owner? martin.bergstrand'at'f16.mil.se (MH 2004-05-16)

Done, he has agreed to using the CC attribution license. // Liftarn

Sonett IV page possible merge

[edit]

I believe that the Sonett IV article should be merged with the Saab Sonett page, since it merits its own page no more than any other Sonett model and arguably perhaps less so, in view of the fact that it is still hypothetical in nature. Ballista 15:50, 15 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

"Så nätt den är" explanation

[edit]

It would be good of someone could translate "Så nätt den är" into English and insert that translation into the article after the phrase. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 209.189.130.57 (talk) 15:33, 14 May 2007 (UTC).[reply]

Done, but I think the idea is that the name comes from "Så nätt" (meaning "How nice") becoming Sonett

Fair use rationale for Image:Saab Sonett.jpg

[edit]

Image:Saab Sonett.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Sonett V section

[edit]

I've added an unreferenced tag. I don't have much hope for the section though, its nothing but unverified, unreferenced conjecture/rumors. It should likely be removed. --Silver86 (talk) 16:11, 3 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

No improvements, still un-encyclopedic, still full of conjecture and rumors, section removed. --Silver86 (talk) 06:01, 23 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Sonett 1 in the US

[edit]

2 reported in the US in this article, one in a museum. Does anyone know where the other one is? I ask because I'm fairly certain I just saw a red one driving by in San Carlos, CA. The high pointy headlight protrusion caught my eye as it was passing. Actually, I seem to recall it might have been LHD, so perhaps it was another make/model. Which cars look similar?

Copy edit

[edit]

I completed a copy edit of the page. It looks like a number of the links have changed or gone dead; unfortunately, the Wayback Machine wasn't helpful. Also, one section appears to make improper synthesis: it claims a certain degree of parts commonality, but doesn't cite a source that actually says this; it cites a parts database. I own a Saab... I'm sure there must be better sources out there, though I suspect some of them aren't available online. This article would really benefit from more sources! // ⌘macwhiz (talk) 01:39, 6 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]
