I think we're going to need another link for that racism quote. The only source is kind of iffy. Tronno 04:40, Apr 28, 2005 (UTC)

reference is iffy

Doctorate?

[edit]

There are numerous articles that refer to Bob Jones III as "Dr. Bob." Yet, there is no clear reference on this "doctorate." This could be a case where he simply uses the title with an honorary degree (unproper and borderline deceitful). An56 06:46, 30 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

The article nowhere calls Jones "Dr. Bob," and it clearly says that "he was presented with honorary degrees by two small Bible colleges and a seminary." In any case, the title "Dr. Bob" originated with his grandfather and was sort of passed down with the name "Bob Jones." I don't know that he could have stopped its use if he had wanted to.--John Foxe 23:25, 30 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for Image:Bju logo.JPG

[edit]

Image:Bju logo.JPG is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Sex scandal?

[edit]

Why is the fact he was removed from ministry for a sex scandal not on this page? I have submitted it, properly sourced, and furthermore Bob Jones and Rick Joyner have discussed this episode of his life. Who keeps scrubbing the page?

The Bob Jones associated with Rick Joyner is a different guy. Unfortunately for this Bob Jones, the other one doesn't have a Wikipedia page.--John Foxe (talk) 00:37, 6 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]
