[edit]Florø is the most western town in Norway. It has only about 11.000 citisens and was founded in 1860 in order to serve the rich herring - fisheries on this part of the coast. Today, fishins industry is still important businesses along with shipbuilding and supply base activities for the offshore oil production in the North Sea. Tourism is increasingly important. It is easy to get to Florø from Bergen or Oslo by several dayly flights, fast ferry service or the Coastal express (Hurtigruta) from Bergen, og by car. Check out the travel information on www.vestkysten.no ("the west coast") og www.dat.dk (airline)
I check pages listed in Category:Pages with incorrect ref formatting to try to fix reference errors. One of the things I do is look for content for orphaned references in wikilinked articles. I have found content for some of Florø's orphans, the problem is that I found more than one version. I can't determine which (if any) is correct for this article, so I am asking for a sentient editor to look it over and copy the correct ref content into this article.
