Immortal Technique

[edit]

How do my links fail verifiability? --Apeloverage 14:38, 25 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I'd like to quote that from WP:VERIFY first: "The burden of evidence lies with the editor who adds or restores material."

http://www.etext.org/Politics/MIM/bookstore/music/hiphop/immortaltechnique.html -> this is an excerpt from a book, with a link to amazon. You have to prove the author is notable and knowledgeable in the field of "Immortal Technique".

http://yellowcontent.blogspot.com/2005/01/immortal-technique.html -> Blog, unacceptable as per WP:EL. Anyone can start a blog and pretend he is an expert, again you have to prove the author is notable and knowledgeable. Or "official", like if he is directly related to the article. (for example: the blog of the VP of Communication from a football team is an acceptable source.)

The rest of your links follow the same pattern than those two links. You do not prove why it should be considered a source. QBorg 15:03, 25 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]
