Speedy deletion of article

Hi I just removed the speedy delete tag you placed on Wharton County Junior College with this edit summary to explain my action: "rmv speedy: created today and flagged by the author as a placeholder: lets give it time to develop." Hope you're OK with this. Filiocht | Talk 10:10, Jun 24, 2005 (UTC)

You marked an article that I created today for speedy deletion and now has been deleted. I am not upset since I have not put anything on it. I just created a page on the same day you marked for deletion. BE AWARE that sometimes people create a page for the time being because they plan to write an article about the subject in the near future. Did you NOT even bother to look at the "History" tab and read an edit summary of "A place holder for now, article to be written."? Find something better to do next time and mind your own business! I don't go around marking articles for deletion. Why don't you do something productive by writing an article or adding in information to existing ones. That article will be created again. My response to the above message can be found here.
Hi, note that Kjammer did not delete the page; another admin, who must have missed my edit summary did and I have left them a note on it. I'm sure that this was simple human error and in no way malicious and would ask you to accept that nobody here is down on you or your article. Many volunteers patrol Wikipedia to ensure the removal of vandalism and trivial pages and we all make mistakes from time to time, but these mistakes are easily undoable. For example, if you had asked, I could have restored the deleted page for you, saving you the bother of recteating it. I am also copying this message to your own talk page. Gaming Collaboration

Sure, I will be a part of your Gaming Collaboration...I actually write video game reviews for newspapers and such to earn money on the side and am a very avid game collector. As for my views on "Megaman/Rockman," I just happen to own nearly all the games in the series (my current collection rests at around 48 games), so I just happen to really enjoy that particular series. I also happen to really enjoy Castlevania and Zelda, among others, and currently enjoy RPGs and MMORPGs, such as "Final Fantasy XI Online," where I have a pretty high level character which is also a mentor. Anyhow, it's good to know that people are out there who enjoy this stuff too! Speaking of Castlevania, I just revamped the story on the original "Castlevania/Vampire Killer" page. --Yahweh 1 July 2005 17:18 (UTC)

I've found your dog!

You were missing a dog, right? No!? Hmm. Oh well. ...

Thanks for the comments. Olounou 20:28, 31 August 2005 (UTC)

Minor edit your user page

I just changed Minor contirbutions to the correct spelling of contributions. I hope you dont mind. Paul McCartney 15:02, 5 September 2005 (UTC)

I just fixed the spelling of "applicable". Ke6jjj 01:10, 22 October 2005 (UTC)

Presentism

Clearly presentism needs disambiguation. It is interesting that splitting the page has thrown up the way that the first part of the old article is more like a dictionary entry than a Wikipedia entry. My interest is in the philosophy of time rather than literary criticism so lets hope that the contributors of the literary/historical form of presentism can contribute something encyclopedic. loxley 08:57, 16 September 2005 (UTC)

Gizmogrid

Gizmogrid is the company that develops Gizmogrid Just in Time Navigator, as described. So a description of Gizmogrid includes the description of what it does, that is, the product it is mainly known for. Among the people who deal with Gizmogrid Just in Time Navigator, they sometimes identify it as just Gizmogrid. The product focuses on ease-of-use, that is the reason for describing it by 1-2-3 phrase.

I'm open to your suggestion for you 'wikifying' it -- please go ahead.

Please search Telenav on Wikipedia and let me know what you think. We are in a similar situation.

Thank you. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 64.173.128.134 (talkcontribs) 02:22, 20 September 2005 (UTC)

Hello. Thank you for informing me of this. Maybe it was just a newbie's mistake. :-/ - Mark 06:17, 2 October 2005 (UTC)

Second person and Manual of Style

I would like to see your suggestion about the misuse of the second person ("you", "your") make it into the Manual of Style. I've added a supporting argument to your section of the Manual of Style talk page to get the topic rolling again. Let's make enough noise there are maybe we can get a consensus going. --Ke6jjj 01:18, 22 October 2005 (UTC)

I'm requesting your opnion about this dispute. Lot of POV-Pushing, the article is currently blocked. --GroundZero 00:13, 21 December 2005 (UTC)

"Sentient"

The term is used differently in different contexts, but in my field it tends to be used to mean "able to feel" (as opposed to "sapient", which is used to mean "able to reason"; I don't think that it ever means "having great wisdom, though). I've compromised by simply removing the adjective, as the balloon's nature is explained in the plot summary. --Mel Etitis (Μελ Ετητης) 10:32, 18 February 2006 (UTC)

Hello, this is a message from an automated bot. A tag has been placed on Rayman Advance, by C. Foultz (talk · contribs), another Wikipedia user, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. The tag claims that it should be speedily deleted because Rayman Advance fits the criteria for speedy deletion for the following reason:

Very little content--has section already in Rayman.

To contest the tagging and request that administrators wait before possibly deleting Rayman Advance, please affix the template {{hangon}} to the page, and put a note on its talk page. If the article has already been deleted, see the advice and instructions at WP:WMD. Please note, this bot is only informing you of the nomination for speedy deletion, it did not nominate Rayman Advance itself. Feel free to leave a message on the bot operator's talk page if you have any questions about this or any problems with this bot. --Android Mouse Bot 2 06:20, 23 June 2007 (UTC)
