Yellowstone Park in Montana
[edit]" A small part of Yellowstone National Park is located in the extreme southern part of the county."
I thought that the portion of Yellowstone Park in Montana was not considered to be in any county. 64.85.229.248 (talk) 18:15, 1 October 2009 (UTC)
- That changed just a few years ago. I don't know the exact date, but it was pre-2000. Nyttend (talk) 21:12, 1 October 2009 (UTC)
- According to our unreferenced article, Yellowstone National Park (part), Montana, this ceased in 1997. Whether or not it is correct, this Census Bureau page shows you that the Montana parts of the park are split between Park and Gallatin counties. Nyttend (talk) 16:48, 2 October 2009 (UTC)
Same name
[edit]The section about Park County being the name of adjacent counties in two states is problematic. First, it's really no more than an insignificant bit of trivia. It hardly deserves mention. Second, it's written in stilted non-quite-correct English, and should be re-written by someone who can write fluently in English. And third, the long list of other places around the country is completely out of place; it does not belong in this article at all, all those other places having nothing to do with Park County, Montana. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 139.68.134.1 (talk) 19:29, 15 October 2013 (UTC)
