Hi, I thought you might want to know your War of Independence page already exists at Indian Mutiny. You might want to merge the pages, and redirect one of them. Adam Bishop 04:39, 12 Apr 2004 (UTC)
- Oh, okay, I didn't know it was such a big issue...I've only ever heard it called "Sepoy Mutiny". Good luck! Adam Bishop
- I'm not sure what you can do, aside from discussing it with other editors who have been involved with that period. You could also try asking on the Village Pump. Adam Bishop 13:51, 12 Apr 2004 (UTC)
I just wanted to say that your additions to the page on Karachi were excellent. DigiBullet 12:04, 14 Apr 2004 (UTC)
Yes, but the capture of KSM was a major historical event. No, not the entire city is overrun by extremists, but Al-Qaida is known to have frequented Pakistan. Ramzi Yousef was caught in Lahore, for instance. WhisperToMe 08:55, 25 Apr 2004 (UTC)
American radio show about wikipedia
[edit]Hi
My name is Robin Amer and I’m a producer for an American public radio show called Open Source, which you can check out at www.radioopensource.org.
I’m writing you because this week we’re doing a show on Wikipedia including an interview with Jim Wales. We’re also looking for some particularly passionate and interesting Wikipedia users to talk to, especially users outside the US. I would love to talk to you about your involvement with the site. If you are interested, please give me a call at 617-497-8096, or email me at robinamer@riseup.net and send me your phone number.
Thanks so much.
Best, Robin Amer www.radioopensource.org

Invitation for WikiProject Pakistan
[edit]It would be of great help for the Project if you could join us.
Wikipedia:WikiProject Pakistan
New provincial template
[edit]I have created this template.
I just noticed that you have created a template Districts of Pakistan but it is limited to major towns only. Can you rename it? Shinas 13:29, 5 February 2007 (UTC)

This article could use some help — I saw your name on Wikipedia:WikiProject Pakistani districts and thought you might be interested. - Special-T 14:34, 24 July 2007 (UTC)
WikiProject Pakistan needs you
[edit]I saw your name listed at the WikiProject Pakistan's member page. It seems that you have been inactive since 2007, but if you are still using Wikipedia to read content, why not make a contribution towards the WikiProject. For some time, we have been able to make significant changes on the Wikipedia pages relating to Pakistan and have had mixed success but lesser input. It is time that all the members join their heads together and come up with exciting ways to work on the project. I hope to see you around on WikiProject Pakistan. Thanks. Shi'a-Sunni sectarianism! What next?
In other news: Akhtar Hameed Khan has finally reached the FA status and Islescape is the happiest person on Earth.
Your account will be renamed
[edit]Hello,
The developer team at Wikimedia is making some changes to how accounts work, as part of our on-going efforts to provide new and better tools for our users like cross-wiki notifications. These changes will mean you have the same account name everywhere. This will let us give you new features that will help you edit and discuss better, and allow more flexible user permissions for tools. One of the side-effects of this is that user accounts will now have to be unique across all 900 Wikimedia wikis. See the announcement for more information.
Unfortunately, your account clashes with another account also called Aalahazrat. To make sure that both of you can use all Wikimedia projects in future, we have reserved the name Aalahazrat~enwiki that only you will have. If you like it, you don't have to do anything. If you do not like it, you can pick out a different name. If you think you might own all of the accounts with this name and this message is in error, please visit Special:MergeAccount to check and attach all of your accounts to prevent them from being renamed.
Your account will still work as before, and you will be credited for all your edits made so far, but you will have to use the new account name when you log in.
Sorry for the inconvenience.
Yours,
Keegan Peterzell

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
