Talk:Tenner–tenor split
Appearance
While this is descriptive of a real phenomenon, is tenner-tenor split really a recognized name, used in the relevant academic literature? Whereas caught-cot merger is standard terminology, this sounds like a nonce coinage, considering "tenner" is very colloquial. An external reference would reassure me :) Joestynes 06:17, 28 Feb 2005 (UTC)
