claimed 100k population - not one of the largest in the world

this strikes my as wildly overblown, from looking at the 11th-12th century city sizes list. 100,000 might have been large, for the region (although still considerably smaller than Constantinopole), but nowhere close to "one of the largest cities in the world", as that would have to compete with the likes of Baghdad and large cities in China. 2001:9E8:A344:B700:5070:174:C4AA:ACF4 (talk) 07:52, 23 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
