Invisalign
[edit]Invisalign is only a brand of a transparent aligner. There are dozens of brands of the same thing that work in a similar way. Ant they are NOT a simple substitute for brackets, because not all malocclusions and malpositions can be treated with an aligner. I'll change the word Invisalign to "transparent aligner".Maduixa (talk) 09:56, 6 March 2019 (UTC)
Gum Shield
[edit]The article has one reference to "gum shield"; "the new technology, then called a ‘gum shield.’ ".
A quick check with Google seems to confirm both terms are contemporary. I generally use gum shield as a middle aged British man. I suggest we should state they are synonymous.
