The article claims (with no cited source) that the Kaidai-class submarine that Trout sunk on its tenth patrol was I-182, but this is contradicted in the article for I-182, which states that it was sunk by the USS Wadsworth on September 1, 1943, days before the September 9 sub-to-sub encounter described in this article. Furthermore, the US Navy's military history website states the following regarding the Trout: "She sank a freighter, a transport, a sampan and for a time was credited with a submarine - I-182, thought to have been destroyed in Surigao Strait on 9 September." In lieu of any direct references specifying the identity of the submarine, I will correct the section, add the Navy reference, and omit the identity of the Japanese submarine.
