If you're here to dispute the nationality of AC/DC, Angus, Malcolm, Stevie or George, please understand this, This topic has been discussed countless times here and at Angus Young or brother's Malcolm Young, Stevie Young or George Young articles. All brothers were born in Glasgow, Scotland. In 1963 they moved to Sydney, Australia. AC/DC was officially formed in 1973 in Australia. The consensus discussions (listed below) and the Wikipedia community have concluded that Angus Young, Malcolm. Stevie and AC/DC will be listed as Australian. Any changes to this fact will be promptly removed.

Heavy Metal???

AC/DC is not and nowhere near Heavy Metal lmao, any source that claims it's heavy Metal either have no ears or doesn't know anything about Metal music. WrestleLuxury Wiki (talk) 13:15, 29 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Please see this discussion here. That has been discussed already, and the Wikipedia community have concluded via a long-standing consensus that it is a "heavy metal" band, with the genre being sourced well enough to define it under "heavy metal". HorrorLover555 (talk) 13:23, 29 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Besides that is all addressed in the first paragraph. They are often described as "heavy metal" even if they prefer to call their music just "rock n roll". That is fair and neutral enough. MaxBrowne2 (talk) 13:45, 29 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
